For example, they’ve started adding zucchini to the pickled pepper kidneys, which is quite unusual. While I was waiting for my meal, I noticed a man leaving the kitchen speaking a Northeastern dialect, and I suspected that they might not be genuine. My instincts were right. Just a few years ago—about 4-5 years—this place offered a diverse and authentic Sichuan menu. I've been a fan of this Sichuan Szechwan restaurant since 2017. Their food is amazing, especially the spicy boiled fish, snow pea sprouts, and the options at the cold deli bar. They've also done an impressive remodel since the height of the pandemic.
Hair found in Water Boiled Lamb. Extremely disgusting. I am a short hair and this is a long hair. Surely doesn’t belong to me.The shop refunded this item and gave me 10 USD. Will you eat a soup with hair in it for 10 USD?
Whenever I have needed a product that was not in stock, they are always kind enough to have it available within a day or two, delivered from their second location in Pasadena. Customer service at its best!
The pickled cabbage and shredded pork noodles were disappointing—I'd rather just have instant noodles. Eating them at home would have been far more enjoyable!
