first time there last week. I called ahead and asked for a bartop seat, they said if I showed up within 15 mins they 'd be able to save me a spot, showed up early, no spot lol. no big deal, I understand. So they sat me in a sort of waiting seating, I said I 'd wait until a spot opened up, I was there by myself, all is fine. then the waiter asked me for a drink, told me the specials, I said sure I 'll have that. brought it too me and told me it was a different drink and that he messed up. okay, no problem. then proceeded to ask me what I wanted too eat, I thought I was waiting for a spot to open up, but whatever, sure I 'll order. I order the sirloin. more people walk in, now a couple is sitt...
The drinks were good and that’s about it the blandest food I’ve had even Boston pizza would do a better job. Perogie appy just potatoes and sour cream with 4 sprigs of dill.. the stuffed pasta the flavour is maybe a touch of lemon.. and the beef dish was tough chewy and the potato’s were oily and old. The management did make things better tho with taking a large portion off the bill. Maybe an off day. Food: 1 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3
Went for our anniversary and could not be happier with the experience! The food was absolutely delicious (I had the trout, hubby had chicken and dumplings) and we were pleasantly surprised at the prices on the menu. A decently sized portion as well! It took an hour to get a simple appetizer and about 90 minutes to get the main course. The food was a little cold with very small portions. Tasted ok but was definitely not the quality you'd expect for what they charge. I hate writing bad reviews but I feel robbed, I'll end it on a positive note though.
