The food at this restaurant is amazing and we were warmly greeted upon arrival. We made reservations for a large group in October and Helen did a great job communicating with us about our menu selections. The dishes were fresh, flavorful, and beautifully arranged. We loved the expansive dining space and the scenic views. The hospitality shown by Helen and her team was exceptional. I highly recommend dining here if you are visiting Mull!
When we visited Mull, the restaurant was closed for renovations, but we purchased a starter, main course, and dessert to enjoy at our self-catering cottage. The food was delicious, made with local ingredients like venison shepherd's pie and spinach and mushroom wellington. The pannacotta with gingerbread pudding was especially tasty. While a bit on the expensive side, it was definitely worth it.
Restaurant wasn't open, just take away but the berry pannacotta I bought in a generous sized glass jar was simply magnificent.Oh to get that recipe! I demolished it in one go.Later on that day I had pannacotta in the Am Birlinn restaurant and it was so poor in comparison. Just wish we'd been able to dine here....hopefully in the future.
Hogmanay 2023 New Year Eve 31/12/23 celebration meal. An absolutely wonderful 6 course meal. The quality of local Isle of Mull ingredients, combined with expert preparation and presentation made for a feast for the eyes and pallet. Better than you’d find in the Ritz ! Lovely find for a late lunch after struggling to find parking in Tobermory. Restaurant was quiet but service was good and food was excellent. Fresh seafood landed locally and prepared and served with love and attention. Stand out dishes were loaded crab fries for me and fresh langoustine for him. Both delicious.
Apparently stocks wiped out yesterday. So there was very little food to eat. Cotton printed dish towels for £10 and aprons for £22.50 too steep price wise. Wishing them speedy recovery and hope restaurant open again soon, because this is a quality place.
The food at this restaurant is fantastic. Our lunch was truly amazing. I ordered the incredible platter and my husband loved the crab loaded fries. The opening hours are posted inside the restaurant, making it easy for us to know when to visit.
Would've loved to eat here, but you need a degree to work out if its open or not. Take away, cook t home, meals looked like an interesting idea, except the freezer was empty. the re-sticking days didn't fit in with our plans. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
When we visited (April 2022), the Hebridean Lodge was only offering cook-at-home meals. We ordered two Lamb Rump meals, including Haggis rolls to start. Excellent and very straightforward to cook.
