The meat, Yorkshire and gravy were lovely and warm and were of good quality , but the mash and vegetables were stone cold and not of good quality. we looked back at the carvery and realised half the carvery wasn’t working hence the cold vegetables. Me and my family visited for Sunday lunch. £12 seemed like the higher price band for a carvery but I’d heard good things and I know competition amongst the sunday lunch locations is strong. I went to this restaurant for Sunday lunch with my family, including my 4-year-old and 2-year-old, and it was not a good experience. I understand the restrictions that restaurants have to follow, but I was not impressed with the service. When we arrived, my brother's meal was placed in front of him without us being asked if we were ready for it or if we wanted drinks first. After some discussion, we finally got our drinks. On July 16th, 2023, we decided to try the Sunday carvery at this restaurant. Unfortunately, we were quite disappointed with our experience. While the meat was cooked well (I had beef and my partner had lamb), the vegetables and other sides were lukewarm. We arrived at 12:15 and were served immediately, so there was no excuse for the food not being hot. The gravy was also tepid and lumpy, as if it had been reheated from the day before. This restaurant is on the pricier side compared to other Sunday lunch options in the area, so we were expecting better quality.

My new wife and I just had the most amazing wedding day, starting from 2pm til midnight and the place was amazing, Lisa had planned everything to the smallest detail, the room was beyond lush!! The staff were fantastic and never stopped all day and night even when we had the room packed to the rafters. They accommodated our wedding band and the day went flawlessly, we couldn't recommend this venue any higher, thank you again Lisa and all of your staff, Chris Sharon Ridley.
Our first time eating out on Christmas Day and it was such a lovely experience. The food was delicious and staff were lovely. Plenty of friendly, relaxed staff so no waiting around for anything amd the children in the party were well looked after with games and a present. Decorations were great and table was lovely. Used this venue for a wake. Couldn’t fault the venue or the organisation of the event. Lisa was amazing and accommodated our every need. Food was fine and service good. Thanks.
Come here with friends to watch the football as one of few venues in the area. Drinks reasonable and serves purpose
