What a beautiful hotel for a super conveniently located hotel, basically walking distance from Canberra airport. I believe the space won an architecture award in The F+B offering at Helix was VERY under whelming. Wine glasses were poured very short we over heard most guests felt the need to ask for more. The menu looked interesting, the actual serves were again very ordinary and therefore considered for what we received. We now understand why only people have reviewed this offering in years. My year old daughter said to me “ such a beautiful hotel pity the restaurant service food is so ordinary”... really such a shame, stay the night but eat else where.

I think the space won an architecture prize in 2016. the f B offer in helix was very difficult. weinglasses were cast very short, we heard that most guests had the need to ask for more. the menu looked interesting, the actual services were again very common and therefore for what we received. we understand now why only 2 people have reviewed this offer in 2 years. my 10 year old daughter said to me “such a beautiful hotel pity, the restaurant service eating is so common”. really such a scandal, they stay the night, but eat them where.
love the cheese garlic broth they serve for $7 per person. really tasty! and the fish main course is also a delicate one, although I must say that the fish was a little dry last time. nice friendly waiting staff. Do not forget to try the sambal (they must request it separately and it is delicious and free
Stay the night at the hotel. Had breakfast on the last day for the food quality is not bad but some needs improvement like the fruits quality overall its good, had a good selection in the hot and cold bar. Staff is friendly too had their own pancake machine, which is cool!

The service on Saturday night was disappointing; it took an hour for our meals to arrive, and the tables were not cleared without us having to ask. The food was overpriced for what it was. I wouldn’t plan to return.
Food and service was great but I was charged extra for food that was included in the price on the Menu, didn’t notice till after I had paid and left.
Ate here first time last nightWonderful, large serving of 4 items for $8.50; 3 item choice available for $7.50.
