There really are not that many restaurants in the Gailtal, but we are fortunate to have Hellas 47 and although it's about a 18 km drive (one way) for us, we gladly make the trip, because the food is delicious and the owner is very friendly, but above all, everything is fresh, no canned food whatsoever. For that, there are not that many dishes to choose from (e.g. many Greek restaurants have many different variations of grilled meat, which actually comes down to pick your own favourite items), but what there is, is all very good. The Ouzo (from the house) at the end always is a good finish to a very good dinner !!
We came for two days to Hermagor Pressegger-See and we didn't miss to visit our favorite restaurant in this area. This time we tried the Greekplate for two persons and I can say that it was better than we have eaten the same type of meet in our holidays in Greece. Thanks Hellas47 for a really nice dinner. The restaurant is small and friendly , we were a large group of 11 ,an engagement and a 30th birthday. The owner was fantastic his service was amazing and the food was excellent. I can not fault this restaurant at all and would fully recommend it to anyone visiting this part of Austria. Vanessa
Excellent food and service in this nice restaurant wich we found by coincidence on our way to the Egger Alm. Our suggestion is the variation of warm appetizers and the mixed fish and seefood plate. We'll be back again.
Nachdem ich letztes Jahr in Griechenland war und ein Gourmet bin, glaube ich, dass dies die atmosphärischste und beste griechische Küche außerhalb Griechenlands ist.
Hervorragende Gastfreundschaft und Essen. Sehr zu empfehlen. Die Preise sind auch gut. EUR 50 für zwei Personen mit Fleischplatte, Getränken und Dessert.

Sehr guter Service. Man fühlt sich wie in Griechenland. Das Essen kommt sehr schnell und es ist sehr gut. Ich würde hier wieder hingehen.
