We also knew it was a good sign when a pair of diners left with big satisfiable grins on their faces.Although the space was small, it was cozy and didn't feel cramped at all. From the moment one enters this domain of culinary delights, you are greeted by the server who genuinely desires to make your experience unforgettable.I was told the menu changes according to what the chef procures, to ensure freshness.The chef had prepared a chicken liver mouse, which I had on toast what….? It was de licious ?? came with a little dish of strawberries with onions…. Wow! This is the cutest little restaurant where you would least expect to find AMAZING food!!!Service was fabulous- thank you Amy for taking such great care of us. Let’s talk about the food…OMG…my mouth had a PARTY!!!! Flavors and presentation and combinations you won’t find anywhere else. I can’t find the words to express how YUMMY and pleasantly surprising these dishes were. Sorry I don’t have room for more in my tummy. High quality food, low quality environment. Food has awesome flavor profile design and plating. Im from out of town, but $55 per person for 3 plates seems a bit excessive. Menu design and presentation leaves much to be desired. Wouldn't hurt to hire someone with sign writing experience to better organize info and improve spacing. kitchen visibility can be distracting with such a small space.

Such an intersting menu! My choices wereThe Scallop, the pork ragu and the Gateau basque. I loved each and every plate and the flavors were so well-developed and complex. Not a dull moment with the food here. And despite just have 1 server, the service was spectacular! Definitely recommend this place and will make sure to come back to try their other dishes!
Don't have a negative thing to say. They accommodated our group and we were able to order family style which let's us sample essentially the entire menu. Everything was delicious but the monkfish and duck entrees stood out personally.Overall highly reccomend.
I honestly think this is the best, most creative restaurant in Philly. The only issue we have is that they usually have five of each courses on their menu and we have to give up one because we’re a part of four!
Unparalleled! Immediately welcomed into a warm homey interior. Amiable staff feel like family. Delicious well-apportioned dishes are both satisfying and interesting. BYO GF VG I will BRB.Playlist slaps too

This place was so cool. We came with a large group and did family style which was pre-defined courses and meals, and loved everything! It's also in a cool location, and BYOB, so you really can't beat it.
What an awesome place! Truly incredible food and waitstaff! Our special occasion was made that much greater by Helm... Thank you SO much!
