Since it 's recent 6 month debut, this month, we decided to try this venue.. And so glad we did.. The ambience was very nice and bright, we enjoyed the colors and furnishings, Booths were white and comfortable , outside dining was a nice area , staff was friendly and eager to please.Dress ,nice casual. Prices were reasonable. Menu simple ,but had variety.. We really enjoyed the Oyster 's Rockefeller, done to perfection in the way it should be done; sprinkled bacon bits cheese excellent! The 1 Entree of Scallops wrapped in bacon and sweet potato grits with spinach was great, The other entry of Salmon and shrimp with brocalli and another grit side dish was delicious.. What an AMAZING Sunday evening had at Winesett House!!! It’s such an ambiance inside!! Food was delicious, drinks were so tasty, music was perfect and service was great! Everything on the menu sounded delicious!!! I can’t wait to go back again and try more things this may be my new Sunday night spot! Really great atmosphere, the patio is awesome with live music, and it was not too loud to be able to have dinner conversations. Our server Arizona was very attentive and great with a couple of suggestions for dinner. The calamari Calamari flash fried with sweet Thai chili and Wasabi mayo, and sweet and sour meatloaf with mashed potatoes, carrots, and green beans were excellent, and very surprised to say that I have now tried sweet and sour meatloaf which was surprisingly good on the pallet.
I enjoy the food here when I'm in town for work. Got the pork chops and lobster bisque and both were delicious. We always sit at the bar and the gentleman that bartends is not very friendly. Gives off the vibe that he is irritated or just too busy to attend to us and/or interact with guest. We got a couple drinks too and I enjoy the espresso martini. Wonderful meal, service a really neat place to enjoy a Saturday evening dinner. Jade was the best server! She was very tentative, professional has a great personality. The short ribs, shrimp, mashed potatoes asparagus were awesome as was the salad. The bread was a great way to start our dinner. We'll definitely be back. Thank you for an enjoyable evening.
Food and service has been great all the times I’ve been there, manager should get a raise, place is ran well…I got scallops over sweet potato grits and spinach, was great. The calamari is some of the best I’ve had honestly. My daughter had the salmon and it was cooked perfect. Good food, good atmosphere
Great place and the food was awesome! Loved the vibe with the fireplace and lights. I had the salmon and my boyfriend had the rigatoni. Very clean, would definitely revisit!
