I always enjoy Hemlock when I'm visiting the Seattle area. It has become a tradition for my siblings and I to meet there. They have a great outdoor seating area and a lovely rotating menu of beers on tap. The staff are always great. It had an inviting, clean atmosphere and I am just as comfortable grabbing a drink solo there as I am grabbing some rounds with friends. Hemlock is one of my favorite spots in Montlake Terrace.
This is a fantastic place to bring your laptop and work while enjoying a beer in the afternoon. The staff is friendly and genuinely involved in the community, and the beer is excellent. They also offer non-alcoholic beverages and wine. It's a kid- and dog-friendly environment. While they have some snacks available, they encourage you to bring your own food. Plus, there’s a Bahn Mi Bites right next door!
The space is quite spacious! It has a wonderfully relaxed atmosphere, making it ideal for enjoying a game of cards or board games. They offer an excellent variety of beers! The place was exceptionally clean and didn't have the sour smell that some breweries do. I will definitely return to try the other beers they have coming on tap!
Great atmosphere, and the beer and cider are excellent! However, the bartender was unfriendly and seemed bothered. It wasn't busy, so perhaps they were just having a rough day, but the overall vibe matters to me. Absolutely wonderful local brewery. They have a great variety of beers, with some brilliant IPA's and also some fantastic innovations ... you can practically taste their passion and joy for making beer when taking a sip! Really cozy and friendly tap room. Just a great little place to enjoy a great beer.
Fantastic little brewery! The Koko, which is a delightful beer featuring a chimp, was absolutely delicious! The bahn mi sandwich, sourced from the shop next door, was also very tasty. This venue is kid- and pet-friendly, and there's convenient parking nearby as well.
Very large space! Super relaxed vibes perfect for playing a card or board game. Great selection of beers! Super clean and didn’t smell sour like some breweries. Definitely will go back for the other beers coming up on tap!

This is a lovely little brewery, and it's a great find since there aren't many convenient options nearby. The beer is excellent, and the atmosphere has a cozy neighborhood feel.
