So our second time back. Went with friends who wanted to try this place out. Pretty sure they were disappointed as neither finished their main courses salmon and a steak. My filet was a bit dry. While not bad, it honestly was just average. Certainly not special. Now the thing that was a surprise was the salad bar. Much better than I remembered. Everything was fresh and the staff did a great job replenishing items as they were consumed. Service was outstanding. However, really wasn't a $100 meal for two. There are chain restaurants that serve a steak that is better for about two thirds the price. For a better value, you might want to try one of those, or spend just a little more and go downto...
The service was excellent and very attentive. I noticed that some people mentioned it was dirty, but we didn’t find that to be the case at all. The restaurant has a charming rustic cabin theme that gives it a cozy feel; perhaps some diners were expecting Greek marble columns and crystal chandeliers instead.
I also asked the manager about the negative reviews. She mentioned that many of them come from diners who finish their meals and then complain in an attempt to get complimentary food, which is common in larger chain restaurants. She encouraged us to let them know if we weren't satisfied with anything so they could address it.

What a delightful experience! This charming and cozy restaurant features a menu with some delightful surprises that really impress. It has an upscale feel while still maintaining that inviting small-town atmosphere. The appetizer selection is absolutely a must-try. Although it's primarily a steakhouse, where they flawlessly serve high-quality meats cooked just right with fantastic sauce options, you simply can't miss the duck wontons and the seared ahi! And if you haven't yet seen the photos, their salad bar is truly impressive—completely different from what you'd find at Golden Corral. The staff is wonderful, and the overall vibe is warm and family-friendly.
We waited about 45 minutes before being seated. Not bad for a Friday night. They do take reservations, which I would recommend. Fantastic meal at an authentic steakhouse. Considering the conversations between many wait staff and patrons, it 's obvious they have been in business for a long time and have regulars . Food was prepared perfectly and had fantastic flavor. Salad bar was fresh,but not substantial. Gold n Corral would put it to shame for choice. By the way, the salad bar IS your vegetable, seated over the return air, t-stat was near us reading 63 degrees. Had reservations for 7:30, arrived at 7:15, waited until 8 to be seated, 8:30 started on our salad bar, limited menu. Steak was ordered medium well, came out well done, no pink. Rice was good. Diet Coke was good...not going back...telling everyone beware...
Visited with a coworker after work. Salad bar was impressive. Big selection of veggies, fruit, and toppings. Everything was fresh and the salad bar attendant did a great job replenishing things as the crowd grew. Steak was cooked as ordered and good.My friend's pork chop was moist and cooked well. The staff was friendly and attentive. Overall it was a nice dining experienceand we enjoyed. Definitely will visit again in the future.
Although the building is somewhat dated, it has a lovely rustic charm. I didn’t have high expectations, but I was pleasantly surprised to find a full bar and an AMAZING salad bar, with everything fresh and the space well-maintained. I ordered a fillet, and I could practically cut it with a fork—it was the best steak I’ve had in years. I will definitely return!
I'm not sure how anyone could complain about anything. This was the last dinner my wife and I had on our vacation and we definitely saved the best for last. Steaks were cooked perfectly and our server was great. Had an Old Fashion with my 12oz NewYork and my wife had the 8oz Ribeye with 2 very large shrimp. Well worth going and would/will again.

Great friendly atmosphere! The New York strip was delicious. They have a very good salad bar with a good selection of choices. Had a appetizer, Idaho wedges. (Potato skins) They were great. Lots of cheese and right amount of bacon with green onion . Wewere not disappointed !!
Amazing salad bar....Our favorite! I had the salmon and it was quite tasty. Will definitely go back!
