This location looks new, clean, located in a plaza with plenty of free parking. The menu consist of hamburger, chicken burger, hot dog, grilled chicken breast, kids menu, various cheese toppings and other speciality toppings (extra charge , sauces and condiments (no charge , shakes and desserts,...ice cream, cold beverages. You can make your meal a combo (adding fries and beverage . I had a grilled chicken burger, nicely seasoned, tasty. My son enjoyed his two junior burgers. Took a bite of the burger, it definitely tasted different different good (with no fillers … . I liked the fact their chicken and beef are made with free range, grass fed, 100% traceable, 100% canadian, 100% angus beef,...
They say you get what you pay for...this was my first time at Hero Burgers. I found the menu hard to read but it is no worse than other Burger places. They had 3 sizes of burgers...4 oz, 6 oz and 8 oz...I knew 8...oz was half a lb...too much ..I knew 4 oz was a 1/4 pounder ...I went with a 6 oz...they sold me on a combo...a fill your own drink, which is typical...they said to sit down and they would bring to the table...the place was empty...around 7PM on a Friday...waited more than 10 minutes in an empty restaurant...the fries were on a long plate...about 1.5 high x 4 wide and about 10 long...I thought it was a mistake...they tasted over-cooked...perhaps heated up from earlier in the day......
very bad experience. they live against this place. ordered takeout online and came there in the 20 minutes that the online order had specified. they forgot the riders when I got up. I checked for happiness in the restaurant. drove to house within 2 minutes and immediately took out the eating. everything was cold. I immediately called the load to solve the problem. they had to call a manager who called me back. They said there was nothing they could do, but it was very sorry and it won't happen again. not surprised, based on the bag I got (see pic bag did not come with the hole). it's a thing not to have the name printed, but another one to handle the name. You can't even do that. the quality...
When I walked up to the cash to place my order there was a computer screen that said if you download the Hero Burger App you would get $5.00 off your order. I asked the person taking orders about it and he confirmed and said...yes. When I placed my order with him, I reminded him that I had just downloaded the app and he tells me you have to place your order through the App when I asked him why didn’t he tell me this to begin with, he completely ignored me and pretended he didn’t hear him. UNBELIEVABLE!!!!! What an idiot! My thought is these stores are all individually owned and they have to advertise but don’t want to really follow franchise promotions!!!!! 20 minutes to get a burger. Come on, you can do better. they take care of all deliveries and their drivers before they take care of the people who order on the counter. I let the cash me in the...Hero sauce on my truthahnburger talk and it wasn't like my taste. it is a white sauce almost the same as on a gyroscope. does not belong on a hamburger. space is just ok, but a trip to harvey is cheaper-faster-better-go! Pop machine is self-service and has no ice. really strange, lukewarm pop to drink.
You can build your own sandwich by selecting the type of meat, the type of bread, cheese, and several types of toppings. The burgers are 100% beef and are very tasty. There were three of us and we ordered three different sides to share: French...fries, sweet potato fries, and onion rings, and we found them a little too oily, although tasty. Overall it was a good experience, and I will likely visit again.
Although the price to this burger in terms of a sort of fast food restaurant is really pricy that does not take away from how great this food is and how great the service is. The beef is cooked just right and the seasoning is...just right. To be producing as good of a burger they do and as many it really is hard but somehow they manage to do it just right and for that they really have the recipe down.
Expensive and Overrated. Poor Service. Called an Order in. Was told it would take 10 minutes. Went to pick it up and realized they forgot to make the order. Waited another 15 minutes. delicious burgers. 4,6,8 ounces they have bark, huh, truthahn, salmon and more. many of them, for whom they have to pay extra. the heroic sauce is good. friends are good. they have shakes, poutins, sweet potatoes and more.
