Hestia's Cafe Restaurant

A little Northbridge gem. I had never heard about Hestia's Cafe Restaurant until walking past it on Lake Street. We had vowed to try it due to their extensive tapas menu and chocolate crepe cake for dessert! When we arrived, we realised we didn't even have to make a booking as there were plenty of empty tables. We ordered the patatas bravas, Seafood Toast and the Seafood Paella. We were warned that the paella would take 45 minutes to cook, which was fine for us. The seafood toast and patatas bravas came out first. The seafood toast was slighty salty, but the combination of seafood was delectable with the buttery toast. Definitely recommend this place for a group. The $40 per person set menu fills you up very nicely and gives you a taste of a great variety of their dishes. No complaints about the food at all everything was delicious. Came out pretty quickly and before we knew the table was packed with dishes. The restaurant layout is a bit odd with two separate rooms but it still has a nice vibe. Sangria's are very nice but at $40 a jug for 5 small glasses with a lot of ice I think it's a little overpriced.

eating was really nice, many different tapas options. cheap cocktails and friendly atmosphere. the service can be slow when there is group booking on the back.

the pastas bravado is the best I had and the pig bell is devine. the beverage menu is extensive, but I enjoyed the cava especially. service is not available

great food and service. prawns, patatas bravas and seafood and chorizo paella. I look forward to going back and tasting more dishes.
