They have been selected in the top half of Canada’s top 100 restaurants and should have ranked even higher than they did.We’ve eaten here several times but have always opted for the tasting menu (which is always an amazing experience). The experience was outstanding, and the food quality is exceptional! We went for the Sunday brunch, and although they now offer a fixed menu that is a bit pricey, it is absolutely worth it. The appetizers we tried, the beef tartare and shrimp cocktail, were both perfectly seasoned and served in generous portions. For the main course, my steak and eggs were fantastic! The hash was, without a doubt, the best I've ever had during a brunch. Typically, I don't finish the potatoes at brunch because they tend to be bland and require ketchup to enhance their flavor. The Tasting Menu was one of the best dining experiences I've had! The food was superb and the staff were very friendly and knowledgeable about the dishes. I would definitely recommend this place if you're looking for somewhere to celebrate a special occasion. Come hungry if you plan on getting the Sunday Brunch Prix Fixe menu.An upscale fine-dining experience without the pretentiousness of other places. This is definitely a great place to celebrate or enjoy a local night out in Oakville. The food was good, but the service was truly exceptional. We ordered a few dishes a la carte, but I heard from others that they also offer a sharing or tasting menu, which I would have preferred. Best dinner I had in a long time!Showed up on a Friday night with no reservation and the staff managed to find us a table for two. Everything we ate was fantastic, so tasteful and delicate. I am still dreaming about the ceviche and the scallops! Also, great selection of French wines. Given the quality of the food and service, I found the prices still reasonable but definitely in the higher range.
Exquisite cuisine is not just importing the ingredients and putting random flavours together. Indeed, white asparagus and hiramasa are fresh. However the combination is not harmonious. Crunchy, soggy, chewy textures in one bite is unpleasant. Green beans and roasted eggplants are just bland.End up with no dessert as it’s just disappointing.
This has been a wonderful experience. We had the tasting menu that had a variety of dishes, fresh ingredients. We added a wine pairing for each dish. For our kid, they were able include a non- alcoholic drink pairing too. The chef personally presented the dish, adding a personal touch. I love this restaurant.
We enjoyed our experience here it was by far the greatest. Excellent service and presentation, upscale and tasteful. The service was impeccable, yet friendly. The food was superb.
