The bar was small, so our larger group ended up in the back room. Unfortunately, the back area was musty and reminded me of my great-great-grandma's basement in 1974. It was clear that this was a spot frequented by regulars, making us feel out of place. We had planned to enjoy some drinks and food, but after ordering one drink and finding the menu unappealing, we decided to leave. The highlight of the place was the fact that they served Guinness and had an original-style dart board with metal darts.
This restaurant is one of my top picks. The staff, food, drinks, and overall atmosphere are all fantastic. I highly recommend this place, whether you are a first-time visitor or a regular. It has a rich family history, being owned by the same family since it was established. You will not be disappointed - just go already, what are you waiting for? Additionally, it has the best patio in the city, hands down. It feels like you're lounging in your own backyard.
Light atmosphere a great neighborhood place to grab a drink and some food w friends. I've only gone in the winter time, I can't wait to try sitting outside in the summer. Looks cozy and chill out there..
