This place is bustling! I dropped my Son off at school and ended up passing the cafe ' by mistake. Of course God doesn 't make mistakes so I did a u-turn pretty quick. I parked up the road a bit and walked down, much better when it 's time to leave, trust me. If you think it looks small from the street, you 'll be even more surprised upon entering. Pros: I’ve been really into the cinnamon honey lattes with oatmilk and that’s been my go to just about everywhere I go, and I have to say, this is quite possibly the best one I’ve had! The creaminess, prefect balance of coffee to flavor, presentation, all so amazing! The service was also amazing! People were so friendly, asked questions and seemed to genuinely want to get to know you a little! Thankfully it was a slow time so we got the chance to talk a little! What a delightful little gem hidden in one of the most charming neighborhoods in Kansas City! The tall roof of this cozy brick building drew me in, and I couldn't resist stopping by to see it for myself. With its real wood Adirondack chairs, friendly service, and a delicious latte, HiHat is truly a destination worth visiting. It's much more than just a quick stop for your daily caffeine fix. I loved spending my morning journaling while listening in on the relaxed conversations around me. People really do linger here. And who could blame them? The place has an irresistible charm.
Hi Hat coffee is the cutest coffee shop in the KC area. However, if you want to enjoy your coffee onsite, pick a nice day because there is no indoor seating.Located in an old gas station, the coffee shop is absolutely charming. The idyllic patio is the perfect place to enjoy a warm coffee in the fall or an iced coffee in the heat of summer.They have a wide variety of coffee flavors and several pastries to choose from. The coffee is delightful and I would highly recommend the homemade pop tart.

Charming little building that used to be a gas station. It's a great spot for gathering with friends, and it's conveniently located within walking distance. They welcome dogs, which is a nice touch. The servers are friendly and interactive. The coffee and other beverages are affordably priced and excellent. We really enjoy their protein balls. Overall, we rate the food 5 out of 5.
I had a fantastic experience during my first visit to Hi Hat! The staff member who took our order also made our drinks while engaging us in pleasant conversation. I will definitely return! The flavored drinks are on the sweeter side, which is great for those with a sweet tooth, but I would suggest adding an extra shot of espresso for coffee enthusiasts. Food: 5/5
