I had an amazing experience at this restaurant, which serves authentic sushi crafted by a genuine Japanese sushi master. It's a charming, family-owned spot that offers the best sushi in the area. Every time I visit Long Island, this is my top destination. The owner and his wife embody true Japanese culture, so you're in for an authentic experience—none of that imitation sushi here. When you walk into a sushi restaurant in Japan, it's important to show respect for the chef and their craft, so be sure to act appropriately. Otherwise, you might get a chilly reception! LOL
The owner is the mad hatter of sushi, to much exposure to heavy metals from the tuna over the years. I love this man and his sushi. Some of the best sushi I’ve Had, and at really good prices. I walked in there and called a spicy tuna roll sushi. And it set him off on an intense rant about what’s the difference between sushi and a roll. It was a lot of fun. I started yelling back and then we laughed. The fish is fresh and they put a lot of love into everything. His wife is a sweet heart as well

Steve and Jackie are truly wonderful people. The food is exceptional and the prices are fantastic. I've ordered catering for the holidays multiple times and have also enjoyed their lunch specials regularly. My sons and I were heartbroken to see the "for lease" sign in their window. I hope they are doing well. I would happily visit them at a new location if they decide to move.

The best sushi I’ve had during Covid and after. A lovely couple prepares all the food, and there are no issues with delivery or pickup. You must try the Udon Nubuyaki soup; it's outstanding! The sushi and sashimi combo is one of my favorites. I can’t wait to dine in at the restaurant again!
The best sushi I've had in a long time! It was a busy morning when I arrived, so there was a bit of a wait for my food. However, they went above and beyond by giving me more than I ordered to make up for the delay. The customer service was outstanding, and I will definitely be returning!
One of the finest sushi chefs on the island! I've heard that his restaurant is up for rent now, and I'm really hoping he’s doing well or has found a new location. If anyone has any information about where he might be, please feel free to respond to my review.
Food is just as good as more expensive places. They only have a few small tables for dining in but we were getting takeout so not an issue. Prompt and delicious, will be ordering again!

The food here is excellent and incredibly fresh. The staff is friendly, and the dishes have an authentic taste. I really enjoy sushi, and this is probably the best I’ve ever had!
The meals and service were beyond my expectations. We absolutely enjoyed the environment of this place. Extraordinary spot to take my family out for dinner.
