Hibachi Grill Supreme Buffet

My family has visited this restaurant several times since moving to the area. Before tonight, I would have rated it 4 stars. Our dinner this evening was standard until we asked for the check. At that point, our waitress explicitly asked us to leave a 20% tip. While we usually do tip that amount, her request felt incredibly rude and disrespectful. It’s unclear whether she assumed we might not tip because we look young, or if it was because we were dressed nicely, but the entire interaction was awkward and came off as entitled. Excellent value and really delicious food at an affordable price for a buffet. The wait staff is exceptional. We visit at least twice a month.
