Started paleo dieting from past one month. Hence, was looking for some good grilled chicken around Arlington heights. Tried the rotisserie chicken we get in Jewel Osco. They smelled very bad after a bite for some reason even after reheating it with some garlic and onions. Threw two of them entirely. Google review suggested me this place Hickory Roasters. Wanted to try the grilled chicken here. Ordered a thigh and two sides. It also came with a muffin. To be honest, the chicken did not smell at all. The piece was very succulent. The sides of green beans and cucumber salad were great. Ended up ordering two whole chicken for take away. The ambience wise it's a small and cosy place. The downside...
By far, the best ribs I've ever had! The service was quick and the food was delicious. The ribs fell right off the bone, which was amazing, and the shrimp was fantastic. The potato salad was unforgettable! I gave it a 4 out of 5 only because my friend and I weren’t fans of the potatoes, cornbread, or mac and cheese. The mashed potatoes tasted off, the mac and cheese lacked flavor, and the cornbread was on the dry side. Other than that, I will definitely be back for the great prices and those incredible ribs!
I ordered a delivery of ribs and a chicken combo to my hotel, and it arrived quickly, which was fantastic. The chicken was quite enjoyable; I really loved its unique flavor—sweet, tender, and slightly salty. The ribs were also tender. Overall, I would say it's a good value for the area, as it appears to be one of the more affordable options.
The chicken was excellent. Unfortunately, the mac and cheese didn't meet my expectations during this visit, but since it's our first time here, I might give it another try. The cucumber tomato salad, however, was wonderful! Overall, we had a positive experience, and we will definitely return!

Delicious roasted chicken. Interesting selection of ancillary dishes about the usual frits or potatoes. I will try again some of the other items on the menu!
First time getting food from this place, chicken and torta with sizes. It was amazing don't let the outside of the place through you off. Trust me.
Got the eight piece dinner with three sides. Haven't had hickory wood roasted chicken this good in a long time. Will definitely be back.
