I’ve visited this coffee shop many times around the same time, whether it’s a weekday or weekend, rain or shine, and I’ve never encountered this kind of behavior before. It really detracts from the overall customer experience and undermines the reputation this place has built over time.
I hate to say it, but due to the poor customer service I received today, I’m giving this coffee shop a 3-star rating instead of a 5-star. That said, I won’t let one barista’s attitude stop me from coming back. In the past, another barista even suggested a better non-dairy milk than the one I initially wanted, which I appreciated.
They don't necessarily make my favourite flat white in the neighborhood, but they did a good try: they reset their espresso machine after the coffee tasted burnt, and that did the trick! Flat white tasted much much better!I love that it's a small owned business and their story is upfront as you walk in. Service was all female and friendly as well, so I'd come back to support.
This was my first time ordering delivery, and I have to say, it's hands down the best coffee I've ever had. I mentioned the same thing on Yelp; I ordered the sweet caramel cold brew, and the flavor profile and complexities of their cold brew are far superior to the basic coffee you find elsewhere that just uses standard syrups. I will definitely be ordering again!

This location is the worst, go to Hoboken to get good service and what you order. Edit: Twice this week we made the same order: Everything Bagel with Veggie CC, Turkey Pesto Sandwich with no tomato due to allergy. Bagel came with plain CC first day, and nothing at all the second. Both days sandwich had tomato.
I used to love ordering iced lattes at this place, but my recent experiences have been disappointing. My last few orders have been mostly half and half, with barely any espresso. The drink was so lacking in color that it looked completely white. I ended up having to throw it away.
The coffee was excellent—I absolutely loved it. The avocado toast was fresh and tasty, made with real avocados of very high quality. The atmosphere is so relaxing, it's like hanging out at a friend's house. Food rating: 5/5.
Great coffee but more surprisingly great food. Love the chicken tikka masala sandwich and bagel with avocado and cream cheese.
