So we decided to spend our 22nd anniversary at the winery. I will admit, I was pretty impressed with the cabins and the hospitality. There was 2 huge weddings about to happen that weekend so we stayed Thursday-Saturday Morning. My only real issues was the fact that our hot tub wasn't cleaned. We had to ask them to come and clean it out. There were a few pretty decent sized spiders and a lot of mosquitoes in the Cabin. But that was to be expected..i mean we were in the woods. The only other thing i didnt like was the menu. It was very small. We had our wedding at Hidden Lake on 10.08.2022, and the day was nothing less than perfection. Hidden Lake has been my dream venue since 2017. The grounds were beautiful, the Champagne Hall was like something out of a movie, and the food was literally to die for. The cabins are stunning and a rare find for such a beatiful remote location, and the beds are seriously like sleeping on a cloud. I had my wedding and reception here on 10.22.22 and I would 10/10 recommend this venue to anyone. Angela and Steve were so helpful when it came to booking this date for us and they were so easy to work with and extremely professional. We told them what we wanted and they made our dreams come to life. Our guests had nothing but great things to say about the venue and how beautiful it is. Lily (the event coordinator) is also amazing. She was available the entire day and made everything run smoothly. You can tell that she loves her job and loves what she does. She is very organized! My fiance got cabin 8 for our anniversary and of course being valentines times day around corner. With our bussy schedule we decided do our valentines times day and anniversary this weekend. Cabin are nice but do need work floor in cabin 8 was weak front bed fire place we scared we fall through you walk across floor has weak spots sink in. And tub the concrete tile was off we came in this place can be nice just need some tlc. We feel your charge people 300 for 2nights please make sure place fixed up we get money worth. Other wise felt like we got ripped off . Winery was beautciful and so was wine and food but cabins need work.
My wife and I absolutely love this place. The owners are very nice and took time out of their busy schedule to talk to us about the wine making process. If you like sweet apple wine you have got to try Twelve Paws! So far I've only ever been to Hidden Lake during the colder months of the year, but I think we will be coming back when it gets warmer for some outside live music. I love this place!
We had the pleasure of staying this past weekend. The accommodations with the cabins were perfect, tranquil, comfortable and convenient. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. And the food was delicious! We look forward to coming back during spring, summer and Fall. Such a gem close to home

I came here for a wedding reception. There's not a better place within 100 miles to host such an event. Large building and cabins for rent so you can stay on the property. They're lake is much more scenic than expected and the jets on those jacuzzis . It's a Southern Illinois gem.
I stopped by Hidden Lake Winery with my friends and we all got wine slushes and we got to help feed the fish! They also have a tire swing a beautiful lake with a fountain.
