The fish and chips has to be amongst the best I've ever had anywhere. The premises itself is mediocre, nothing fancy and the service is quite slow but pleasant. It was quiz night when we were there and we quite enjoyed the quiz and bingo etc. There was a good crowd there. If you want a bit of cheap entertainment without frills and top notch fish and chips I'd definitely recommend a visit to here.
Finally, some good f- food. I had the “whale” (large cod) which was divine. My spouse had the meat pie, which was one of the best we have ever tasted.
