We visited here for my grandmas birthday as her choice. There was a few vegan options available, I ordered the vegan nachos. Well when they arrived there was about 10/15 crisps, tiny amount of vegan cheese, spring onions and tomatoes. No salsa, no guacamole, no sour cream just dried nachos! The same price as the non vegan nachos! I ordered the no smothered chicken, the portion was tiny. The no chicken had the tiny amount of bbq sauce on it and again a small amount of vegan cheese. Hardly any chips on the plate. I was expecting more I guess! Was disappointed really. Lucky I had a discount. Won't be returning anytime soon
The service here was awful. We were kept waiting over 5 minutes even to be shown to our table. Our main course was not cleared for ages until we summoned a waitress. We gave her our desert order and nothing arrived until we asked again. It was nearly 30 mins since we ordered before our dessert arrived. When we asked for the bill it was nearly £30 too high. The waitress kept revising the bill and twice practically slammed the revised one on the table in front of us. Needless to say we did not leave a tip! There is clearly a lack of Pt and/or understaffing here we will avoid it in future!
After a terrible experience eating out with my toddler, I was hesitant to try again. However, I decided to give it another shot and booked a table at this restaurant. I am so glad I did. Our waitress was exceptional, and all the staff were relaxed, professional, and friendly. They made a huge positive impact on our family. The food was good, but I really wanted to give credit to the staff for their outstanding service.
We meet up with old friends on a regular basis at the Hilden Manor and have always been very well served and looked after. The management and staff are knowledgeable and efficient and very friendly. We count ourselves very lucky that we have this restaurant and bar virtually on our doorstep.
We love going to this restaurant for breakfast. There are so many options to choose from and children under 15 eat for free when accompanied by a paying adult. Anna is amazing and very welcoming, and Carl makes the most delicious full English breakfast.
The breakfast was fantastic. Despite being very crowded, the service was outstanding and the staff was very friendly. Kudos to Carl and Anna. I will definitely be coming back.
Great pop in meal. Not pretentious, just good bar fodder. The bar lady is excellent (and easy on the eye! Reasonable beers and well priced wine. All in all a fair place to be
