I visited this restaurant twice in hopes that my first experience with their desserts was just a fluke. Unfortunately, all the items I tried tasted stale and similar, despite being different types of baked goods. I returned recently and found that only the cheesecake was somewhat decent, but it definitely did not seem homemade. The filling tasted generic and lacked any distinct flavor. The atmosphere of the restaurant was unwelcoming and the service was rude. I would not recommend going back. It's better to just buy baked goods from a store as they taste much better.
I went to this restaurant to pick up pies for the 4th of July weekend. Despite the unassuming exterior of the building, I was pleasantly surprised by the variety of delicious treats on display behind the glass. They had a wide selection of pies to choose from, and the service was friendly and attentive. The pies were delicious, especially the blueberry and raspberry ones. They were still warm when I purchased them! Paired with vanilla ice cream, they made the perfect dessert for our celebration.
I have been trying to order a birthday cake for two days and they were closed early Thursday and this is Friday and the answering machine says to call back I have been calling back 4 times and no answer so my wife went down and they were closed with no reason just a waste of time and made the birthday not very good.
I visited the bakery yesterday and got a few cream horns, almond breakfast rolls, and a raspberry cheesecake. They were all incredibly tasty and reasonably priced. I placed an order and went to pick it up during their business hours, but when I arrived, the restaurant was already closed. They should update their hours online, so customers are not misled into placing orders expecting to pick them up when the restaurant is actually closed.
You ruined a friend of Mines wedding plans!!! You canceled an order for 5 dozen donuts on her for no reason!!! That's terrible business! Now she has to find someone to make a miracle happen! So, thanks alot hillmans! really dissappinted!!
The restaurant is both affordable and welcoming, with delicious food that reminds me of home cooking. The staff is friendly and prices are very reasonable. It's a nostalgic experience that I highly recommend.
