We are a family of three and spent the summer at Hillthwaite, where we had dinner several times. Our stay, the meals, and the service were all excellent. Since then, we've purchased a holiday home in Windermere, but we will continue to visit the restaurant for dinner because the food and service are simply exceptional. The reception and restaurant staff remembered our first visit and were very warm and welcoming. I would definitely recommend it for a stay, dinner, or both!
Fantastic experience we were extremely late due to traveling through an accident on the M6. Managed to squeeze us in and the staff were extremely friendly and sympathised with our dilemma. Made to feel 100% welcome the manager came to speak to us and helped us relax. The food was beautiful especially the sticky toffee pudding! Marvellous service! Can’t rate them enough! Beautiful views of the lake Windermere breathtaking!!
I found this place on OpenTable and I'm so glad I made a reservation. The dining experience was incredible, with breathtaking food. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the staff were friendly, welcoming, and charming. We truly enjoyed our time together there.
This restaurant is designed for the posers. The waters hovered around the moneyed crew but ignored the majority of diners including us. Not recommended. The female waiter mixed up our meals and made many simple mistakes. Not good enough for the prices they charge. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
The dining experience was fantastic, and the service was incredibly attentive, so I have no complaints! From the moment we walked in, the ambiance of the room was excellent.
We just returned from our honeymoon at The Hillthwaite House Hotel, and it was an absolutely perfect getaway. We can't wait to return. A big thank you to everyone!
Lovely meal . Had time changed by hotel . Could tell we were the only people eating there that weren't guests but did still feel welcome .
