Was revisiting Port Washington where I grew up and went to high school down the street. We were looking for a local place to eat and this deli got excellent ratings. It reminds one of a Mom and Pop deli ownership. Small establishment with two small tables to eat at. Parking is limited to street parking and small parking lot directly behind establishment Bak door entrance also). They specialized in chicken . We both ordered a chicken salad sandwich. Huge. We actually ate half and ate the other half later. Yummy. I chatted with present owner, delightful owner for 22 years. I think previous deli was Zigmond 's Deli. All the local people including Paul D Screiber high school students eat here.Hi...
This is a fantastic classic deli! As soon as you step inside, you'll see an array of special sandwiches displayed on the walls. The service is fast and welcoming. I've only tried breakfast items, but the Lenny Special was absolutely delicious, and the price was much more reasonable compared to other delis in the area.
I occasionally grab lunch there, and it's always a great experience. Their lunch meats, salads, and sandwiches are top-notch. The egg salad sandwiches are famous for a reason—they're outstanding! The service is friendly, and they've been a staple in the community for many years.

The pastrami and turkey combo sandwich is excellent. I can't recall the name of it, but it's a delicious option for just $10.
This place serves an absolutely delicious and hearty breakfast sandwich that you definitely need to try!
Few of the ladies that work here where very racist.!! Not all of them but I felt really uncomfortable !
