We have just had one of the worst restaurant experiences ever! My partner ordered the Fish and Chips and I ordered the Salmon. My partner’s fish was really dry and unappetising and my salmon was raw in the middle and inedible. I, naturally, complained about the salmon and the chef came to the table to ask if I wanted the same piece of fish re-cooked or a new piece of fish. Of course I asked for a new piece of fish! When, eventually, the waitress brought my meal to our table, she asked me to check the salmon and, when I cut into it, she could see for herself that the middle was again raw! By now, I had lost my appetite and we asked for the bill, perhaps foolishly expecting at least some reduc...
We didn't know the hippopotamus chain. as we stayed in the bb host next to the limoges 1, we discovered this restaurant. I took a duck with acacia honey with its small vegetables and a potato in the oven: very good dish I recommend. For 2 people, we paid 43 euros with a pair of appetizers, half aperture, a caesar salad and a duck.We were well received and served quickly. address to keep!

Spent a sunny Fall afternoon in their outdoor seating area. The servers were prompt and well trained. The menu offers something for meateaters, vegetarians, fish, and poultry. Good dessert menu also. I highly recommend Hippopotamus
