Honestly I have to say I was a little dissapointed with this place especially for the price point. The service was pretty slow, we had to order drinks half empty in order to hopefully get a new one without too much wait after being done. They also gave us a hard time for bringing a birthday cake in and we had to negotiate to pay for a cutting fee. The price of the food is way too high for what it is, $30 a sushi roll is absolutely ridiculous even if at the breakers. The place itself is nice, but they don't take any reservations. My husband and I had a delightful evening at HMF while staying at the Breakers for 5 nights. Our server, Janet, was amazing. Be sure to ask for her!!! The sommelier recommended a bottle of a delicious Italian Super Tuscan Cabernet. Janet recommended we share Korean short ribs and shiitake potstickers. All incredible!! As a special dessert surprise, Janet and her manager brought us an over the top confection of chocolate brownie, marshmallow, ice cream, whipped cream, fudge sauce, and white chocolate to share. We had told her we had been married 40 years. We spent the rest of evening sipping wine and people watching. Loving our stay here!!!
HMF, is a restaurant inside The Breakers Hotel on Palm Beach. They do not accept reservations, so expect a wait for seating on Friday and Saturday nights. The restaurant focuses on tapas (small plates) so you can order and taste several menu options without overdoing it. Great date night spot! Offers small plates and appetizers with the largest selection of bottle service I've ever seen. We walked the grounds facing the ocean for a romantic couples quality time to end the night. The Breakers is a must see if you’re in Palm Beach. The drinks were delicious just expect to pay around $20 for cocktails. But we enjoyed every second. You can have your valet parking validated if you are a paying customer. It’s a must to see!
