The Högenauer Kocherei is definitely a hidden pearl and a real insider tip, and not just because of its location. The atmosphere is cozy and invites you to linger. This applies to both the indoor area and the very beautiful outdoor area. The staff is super friendly, attentive and accommodating. Smaller conversations are also possible. The food is of excellent quality and very tasteful. I would have liked to eat more, but the portions are also very large. Nothing fit anymore. A restaurant that I would like to visit again. Yes, really a hidden gem: the owner cooks with a lot of love and passion, there is always a small daily menu and also plenty of great vegetarian dishes. And really vegetarian dishes, not just cheese spaetzle, with seasonal and often regional vegetables. Also great meat dishes. Everyone will find something here. All ingredients are of high quality. Sometimes it takes a little longer, but that doesn't matter if you get used to it and know that everything is cooked fresh and with a lot of love.
