Family tradition every beach day ends with an ice cream. My family and I have been coming here for years. The ice cream is great. The service quick and friendly. A bit disappointed this time around. Due to Covid-19, they are not allowing people in. I get it. We had a big order. The ice creams came out super fast in a paper bag. And here is when the disappointment starts. No napkins. Ok there some by the window. We make our way back people are looking at us funny , but napkins are definitely needed when having ice cream. Now is time to pass the ice creams around. Ice cream did not live up to the hype that people have created through their reviews. I ordered the Cookie Monster and mint choc chip that everyone raves about. Neither was special at all. The cookie dough and Oreo inside the Cookie Monster was VERY MINIMAL. I probably had 2 bites of each in my entire large scoop. I don't know if this is normal for their ice cream? I usually expect mixins to be in each bite for a specialty ice cream. Also, was surprised by the Cookie Monster being BLUE! I have been a customer at Hoffman’s for many years, but my recent experience was disappointing. Not only have they reduced the sizes and portions they serve, but they have also raised their prices. Yesterday, I went in to buy the Easter ice cream cups, which were all labeled at $14.95. However, I was charged $16.95. When I asked about the discrepancy, I was told the box was mispriced. I pointed out that all the boxes in the freezer had the same price of $14.95, but they still gave me a hard time and insisted that $16.95 was the correct price. Eventually, the employee reversed the transaction. I've found that Sundaes is a great alternative, and Point Creamery is fantastic as well!
I thought IT was great I loved it they did skip some people for both coming in but other wise it was some of the best ice cream every if is rich and creamy I loved it thank u for making it i am so hap oh I went there pls go it is great i mean it but there is no bathroom in the store and it is very busy awaited out side and then went because u get a number when u first walk in pls enjoy I hope u have a good time small is a good size lager is to big

I've been a long-time fan of Hoffman’s Ice Cream and absolutely love the taste. However, I was disappointed to find that two scoops now feel more like just two tablespoons. It's frustrating to see such a significant reduction in portion size. If necessary, I understand raising prices, but please don’t give customers so much less than what they’re accustomed to.
Came after a day at the beach. Portions are bigger then expected and prices aren't bad. Had the chocolate chocolate chip in a cone, ice cream was delicious. Daughter has the S'mores. Would definitely go back when back to the beach
The restaurant was not clean. I observed that the employees did not wash their hands after eating their own ice cream behind the counter, which I found to be quite unprofessional.
Excellent service, delicious ice cream, and generous portions always satisfy my ice cream cravings!

Awesome spot by the beach! We tried cookie dough and fudge mint chip. Totally recommended!
The salted caramel pretzel flavor is amazing. It is a Perfect blend of sweet and salty.
