I called Hog Eye because I was craving a bbq sandwich. Their customer service was horrible. I was hung up on twice, or put on hold without being told, the third time I called back someone different answered the phone and put me on hold. At this point I should have just said forget it but I really wanted the bbq sandwich so I stayed on hold for 5-10 minutes and placed my order. When my husband came home with it 30 minutes late it was completely wrong! I called to tell them about it because this is the second time this has happened (the first time I didn’t report it) and the girl couldn’t have cared less. She didn’t even apologize and just said well you can come back or pick it up another time...
We stayed at the 66 Express Rv Park and asked for a good place to eat. Hog Eye has been recommended and it is not good, its GREAT! My husband pulled pig and I smoked turkey. Both were wonderful. We got a pound of turkey for lunch on the street and we were in the hoof sky. Ps don't pass the cramps. They had apple cracking on special for $2, anywhere else this mouth irrigation desert would cost 3 times. One was enough to separate. Thanks to the Rv Lady we now have a favorite place for bbq in Marshfield. We'll stop there again.
First off I want to start by how much I really love the food here. I've yet to find a place that can match the flavor.....but here the down side who ever was cooking was super rude to my husband which I'm assuming is probably the same person who everyone else on here has complained about the customer service here sucks and my fries for the whole hog loaded fries was not done at all very disappointed the owners of this establishment needs to put their employees in check. This was my first time eating at Hog Eye's I ordered a half order of the Hole Hog Nachos with a sweet tea drink, the sweet tea is the best I had in a long time it's sweet like they make in Texas! the Nachos was very good the chips stayed crisp and didn't get soft the pork had a good smoke flavor and the barbecue sauce was good too, to top a great meal was Jess who asked me several times if everything was alright and has that southern hospitality I will go back weekly I recommend it for barbecue

Awesome food, and for smoked brisket, not badly priced by the pound either being barely overb10 bucks or so with quite a variety of other meats and things to go with 'em! Also, a billiard room for a bit of fun that had no wait etc.. One employee specifically stood out in numerous ways named Kaleta, she needs a raise and/or promotion...absolutely wonderful!!!
I have given this place several chances and it has been consistently bad the last three times. I think new owners/management has taken over. The brisket is fatty and tasted old and microwaved. The fries were ok. The service is slow and they never have enough people working. Save your time and money and take it to ANY bbq place in Springfield
It took almost an hour to get our food. Thanks to Kyle tinder we were able to get it . He wasn’t even supposed to work but went and got our food to us after we sat there for 40+minutes . Definitely one of the longest waits I have ever experienced
We will never go back the worse bbq we've ever had. Had to wait over an hour for rack of ribs and pull pork fries came 20 min after the food that had cinnamon and sugar on them this place sucked.

Waited a long time to be helped and then was charged 40 bucks for food that was less than satisfying to say the least. Not a happy camper
Absolutely dissatisfied waited for our food for an hour and 1mins when we ate everything was cold and tasted awful 100% do not recommend
