Hands down the best barbecue I've ever had in California let alone Texas or the South. The jalapeno cheddar sausage was succulent juicy full of flavor and not overly spicy. The pulled pork was fall apart delicious moist and flavorful. The macaroniand cheese was homemade extremely rich and satisfying. Probably the most comfort food item I had. The potato salad was betterthan average and the role was freshly made. My buddy had the St Louis ribs and brisket as well as the cornbread with honeybutter. All of which were absolutely incredible as well. We tried each other's food which we never do and enjoyed every bite. Wewere completely useless the rest of the day. This place is pretty solid right off the bat I was impressed by the either hostess or the person running the show behind the front counter taking orders she was direct but at the same time hospitable and approachable with questions for someone who neverbeen to their barbecue place before. Second thing then impressed me was they were actually out of a number of meats which mightmake somebody else mad but what it made me was excited because there's a reason they sell out cuz it's the good stuff in myexperience. This is the first review I?ve ever left, because the food here is that good. It?s the best value also. Serving sizes are huge and the best quality bbq I?ve ever had- even better than the places I?ve tried in Texas. I don?t even know how to put it intowords lol! The brisket is heaven. Brisket tacos meal is my new favorite. Must try!
Hog Wild BBQ was what you'd expect with a BBQ meal. The food was delicious, big portions, flavourful. You order/ pay at the counter when you go in, you get the drinks yourself, seat yourself, and they bring you the food on a tray, each individualorder. Service was good. Atmosphere was great for your traditional BBQ.
