We decided to swing in to hogs breath as it had been some time since we had eaten there and knew the food was always good servings.We were seated quickly and didn't have to wait and the drinks came quite fast too. We ordered our food and waited the usual time for it to arrive.I had chooser the ribs as the picture made it look great and seemed like a good serving of 500g ribs, however upon arrival I I guess the bones must of weighed a bit cause it was quite a small serving overall.Hogs breath use to be a good place for big meals that'd leave you full as a pig, however these days it's become to caring on its looks then its food. As we are frequent Hogs Diners we go every chance we can when on Holidays as we do not have a Hogs near where we live. They are always good but in Cairns the staff are so friendly and accommodating our visit there was wonderful. Meals were served promptly and were of the normal exceptional quality. The atmosphere was so happy and friendly we went again the next day. Highly recommended
We have a series of photos of our kids having birthdays at Hogs Breath, mostly in Cairns. Our sons recent 18th Birthday meant we wanted to go out to celebrate. His choice - Hogs Breath!. The meals were good, tasty and hearty, the staff were awesome and the atmosphere was excellent. Highlight of the night was the singing of Happy Birthday to him by the service staff - it was great!
Since I participated in the tour, I have lunch so can I eat meat? I visited with a feeling. I went there at 6 pm without a reservation, but it was about 80% of the customers. I can also serve a 200g. Master 300g Japanese menu. It was very delicious. I was surprised at the amount of mashed potatoes! ️ It was 72 for two people. Ah satisfied

We ordered 'lite' meals so I didn't expect a huge steak but it was very small for the price. The broccoli was basically raw, big dirty stem and all, dipped in hot water and the carrots were over cooked.Wait staff were friendly and efficient but the kitchen let them down.
Go here regularly, service was a little slow but as usual the meal was up to scratch...only negative was that they no longer do baked potatoes at lunch time even though it is still offered on the menu, something I always had with my meal...a tad disappointed.
Had a great meal with friends. Good steaks, wide variety of dishes. Nice cocktails and desserts. Wonderful cafe, I recommend it to everyone!
Quick efficient friendly service. We had an awesome dinner. Food was really tasty. Really popular place with a continuous flow of customers

I ordered it medium rare, but the steak had a great fishy smell...it's crazy because it's a place for kids' birthday parties here....
