easy access from nicollet and 35th. they have their own parking lot and street parking is free. food is good. be warned, the chips and salsa are $5 adding guac is another $3.5. I like both the fried plantain tostada $8) to make it vegan sub beans and guac as recommended on the menu. the black bean and sweet potato arepa $11.50) comes with yuca fries. make sure they leave off the queso as recommended on the menu. all items gluten free staff was friendly. prices for the arepa are a bit high, but food was good. I will go again
Hola Arepa is our family?s go-to brunch spot. Their menu is full of bright and vibrant dishes that taste as good as they look. I highly recommend getting the Chilaquiles and the Yuca fries, both are super tasty! The cocktails are just as delicious as the food. Lots of fresh, tropical ingredients in creative ?glassware?, served strong! Don?t forget to try their rotating slushie cocktail! The restaurant has a cool vibe, and is run like a well oiled machine. It?s nice going
We had a great experience with takeout from this restaurant while visiting from out of town. As a vegan, I was pleased to find a delicious option, and my omnivore friends were able to find something they enjoyed as well. The fried sweet plantains were perfectly cooked, and my jackfruit al pastor arepa was fantastic. The meal was very filling, especially with the addition of the plantains. The use of fresh ingredients made everything taste so delicious.
I had such a great experience at this restaurant! It was my first time dining here and I'm really happy that I came. The atmosphere is fantastic, with colorful and vibrant décor. The music was also on point. I tried the Yuca fries and street corn, both of which were incredibly tasty. I will definitely be returning in the future!

Really unassuming restaurant that punches well above its weight class. Absolutely delicious food. We had 6 dishes in our party and all were fantastic. The arepas are to die for and are surprisingly filling. Great drinks and atmosphere and extremely affordable. Would highly recommend!
Menu clearly marked vegan options or options that could be made vegetarian. The black bean arepa was good even without the crema because the chimichurri was so delicious and flavorful! Passion fruit lemonade was neat too. They charge 20% on top of your meal instead of doing tips.
A friend from the area suggested this place to me. The fried chicken arepa was absolutely fantastic. The chips with salsa flight and guacamole were also excellent. The cocktail menu was solid as well. The atmosphere, service, and food were all great. I look forward to returning.
Vibrant atmosphere with friendly service, we started with the chips and salsa which provided a variety of spiciness levels and exciting flavors. The arepas were stuffed and tasty, I ordered the beef and plantain which was excellent. A fantastic spot to hang out with friends.
