The ambiance at Home Block is truly beautiful, showcasing that no expense was spared in its design and location. I highly recommend relaxing with a glass of rosé and some snacks on the patio. However, despite choosing the premium tasting menu, the overall experience didn’t justify the high price. We were seated right next to the kitchen and could hear the chef shouting at the staff for the first 40 minutes of our visit, while the servers rushed around to fulfill orders. It took 15 minutes for someone to acknowledge us after we were seated, and we waited 30 minutes for our first course and an additional 15 for the second. Once again, they nailed it! We visited last year and had a fantastic meal with exceptional service. Today, we returned for the pairing menu at lunch. The atmosphere was vibrant, and the weather was perfect. From the moment we arrived, the hospitality was outstanding; our server Andi was professional yet friendly, attending to our needs without us having to wave anyone down. We enjoyed a wonderful anniversary dinner at this restaurant. The staff was incredibly attentive. Since we made an early reservation, we were fortunate to have a table on the patio. The bruschetta and squid were excellent starters, especially when paired with their sparkling Rosé. For our main courses, we ordered the steak and the duck, both of which were cooked to perfection. To finish off the meal, we tried the cream puff and the sticky toffee pudding, which pleasantly surprised me with its light texture and well-balanced sweetness. We will definitely return!
We were attended to by Matthew, who was both friendly and knowledgeable, making our dining experience even more enjoyable. We had one of the best meals we've ever had, featuring burrata, flat iron steak, and sticky toffee pudding, along with heirloom carrots, porchetta, and cheesecake. It's going to take some serious exercise to burn off that meal! Without a doubt, it's ranked among the top five meals we've experienced, both internationally and in Canada. Each time we dine at this restaurant, the experience is consistently exceptional. One day, we even dropped in for a casual lunch, and the chef went out of his way to prepare a special steak for my father-in-law that wasn't even on the menu, which truly made his day. We also enjoyed the Paired Experience, featuring five courses, and I found myself thinking about the incredible food and wine for days afterward. I highly recommend this restaurant, especially after enjoying a tasting at Cedar Creek next door.

This winery is absolutely beautiful. I had a tasting of the platinum wines, and my server, Taylor, was delightful and extremely knowledgeable.
