It was my friend I's first visit to Hometown Hotdogs, and we were extremely pleased with our experience. The atmosphere was pleasant, and the service was friendly and attentive. I decided to try each of the sauces to find my favorite, and out of the mild, medium, and hot options, I have to say the hot was my top pick! It’s not overly spicy, but it has just enough heat to make your mouth tingle, and it’s very flavorful! The fries were well-seasoned, and the dipping sauces were excellent as well. The sweet tea was also delightfully sweet—definitely the best I’ve had in a long time! I'm really glad we stopped by and I look forward to returning soon for more tasty hotdogs!
I stopped by during a road trip heading north and ordered the #2 combo, which included two hot dogs, a drink, and fries. The hot dog sauce was really tasty, and I went with a regular medium size. The crinkle-cut fries were fantastic. The restaurant has a classic counter service vibe, and the service was quick and friendly. The dining area was comfortable, and I enjoyed watching some college football while savoring my hot dogs. I absolutely love this place!
The hot chili dog combo is fantastic, with a generous portion of really crispy fries. I really appreciated the ranch dressing on the side—it was so good that I ended up ordering three of them!
