As a purist myself, I appreciate donuts that stick to the basics, and these are truly wonderful! After a day spent paddling, hiking, or exploring, a visit to Honey Donuts should definitely be on your agenda. You won't be let down by either the pastries or the service! Just a heads up—parking can be tricky, so it might be a good idea for one person to stay with the car while someone who isn't a fan of donuts goes inside to pick them up. Otherwise, there's a chance the order won’t make it back! And be prepared for lines…
The maple glaze on their donuts is fantastic, but I might be in the minority when I say that the donuts themselves feel a bit heavy and doughy—not my favorite texture. However, when I treat myself to a donut, I always go for the maple bacon. Their coffee is decent as well. What really shines, though, is their bread; the Reuben is incredible, largely due to the high quality of the bread. Their potato bread is also quite tasty, but I find the potato bread breakfast sandwich to be a bit too heavy on the bread, which leaves me feeling a bit dry. As for parking, it can be challenging to find a spot during peak times.
These donuts are amazing! I walked in with low expectations after reading some reviews, but they turned out to be surprisingly soft and delicious! I tried the cinnamon coconut and the cinnamon sugar flavors, and both were fantastic, with the cinnamon coconut really shining. However, the strawberry rhubarb muffin was just average and a bit cold. Overall, I highly recommend this place!

Wow! This place is incredible and truly deserves all the praise it gets! I highly recommend trying the original dish—it might not appear impressive, but it's the standout on the menu. You'll see why it's so special as soon as you take a bite. I’d even go so far as to say I would order it all the way from Alabama!

The staff at this restaurant are amazing, and the baked goods are exceptional. Waiting in line outside is surprisingly pleasant. Although finding parking in Deep Cove on weekends can be challenging, the atmosphere makes it all worthwhile!
