I'm warmly heartened by the burgeoning real ale scene in France, typified by this real gem of a bar loosely modelled on an English micro pub. 15 craft/real bears on draft and many more available bottled. WE tried an outstanding Frence IPA 4.3 which had clearly been dry hopped. Full malty body, Lovely pale colour and a crisp fresh citrusy nose. The taste matched my expectation. All the better for being served in an straight English pint glass. Actually 500ml but thus leaving enough room for the head. A custom lost when Banks finally succumbed to commercial pressure and withdrew it's classic over-sized glass. Our second sample was a Belgian dark ale, very sweet malty and full bodied; and typic...
Here's a bar that has understood everything! good craft beer, fries oh my god so good, originality with this malt served as an aperitif instead of the usual peanuts, if you like beer go there eyes closed! I don't even have the words to describe this place, I'd like to see more in bets.
This place was such a breath of fresh air! The servers were friendly and spoke great English and the selection of beer was amazing. We had some fries that were yummy, too. Paris isn't known for its craft beer scene but my beer-obsessed husband made sure to seek this place out.

young and very nice equipment, reasonable prices (for bets anyway!) and especially a nice choice of handmade beers at the pressure. all in a human-sized bar that doesn't take it seriously (just a little corner out and it's perfect.)! I don't know what to eat.
This was an awesome find! We love great beer and were determined to find some French brewed beers on our trip. Hoppy Corner did not disappoint. We tried 4 different beers and they were all great!
