This restaurant is absolutely amazing and simply the best so far that I have tried , the food quality , ambiance , standard and portion is spot on . I am Head Chef at one of Berkhamsted finest restaurant so my expectations are high and indeed they were met . Our server “Leneena” had grate knowledge of the menu and was very pleasant especially with my kids she made our night really special . We will definitely be back …….
I came into the horse and jockey today with my husband for a late lunch. The food was okay, but upon entry we were shocked to see the kitchen staff sat down watching football with pints of beer. I wouldn’t have thought this behaviour would be acceptable in this sort of business. Over all the experience was okay, our waitress Jenay was lovely.
Dining on my own and had a great server, Daniel, who made sure that I had everything that I needed and made me a fantastic dessert. Thanks Daniel. Food was good and felt comfortable eating on my own, Over all a good experience and one that I will repeat.

Yet again a great Sunday lunch. The staff here are lovely, great efficient service and always so friendly and helpful, nothing is too much trouble. We are regulars here and highly recommend it, great food , excellent value.
Daniel, our server, was fantastic. He was always available to help us navigate the menu, and his polite and helpful demeanor enhanced our dining experience. His quirky conversations added a special touch to our evening.
