The view from the dining terrace is exceptional. Our first courses were fine, but the paella for two was absolutely superb! The ingredients were great, particularly 4 large prawns, but the real prize was the incredible quality of the rice (stated to be from the...Camargue) and its wonderful flavor. We eat paella frequently, and have found that what distinguishes the rare great ones from the many merely good ones, is the quality of the rice and whether it has fully absorbed the wonderful broth of the seafood. With a truly great one, I could eat just the rice and give away the seafood, and be totally content. This paella met that standard and thus, for us, the restaurant earned 5-stars. We had...
We did not feel very welcome, even more "judged" for eating as a family with young children. We didn't have a really assigned server so between sitting, taking our orders, serving etc., we were always with a new person... Eating...was ok, not bad, but not extraordinary neither (we took the paella). The restaurant was quite empty when we arrived until the time we left, but it was told that the indoor terrace was fully booked weeks in advance... not sure if that was true, as empty the place was...
Amazing location with sensational view (in the new extension on the back...nice terrace on the front for warmer weather). typical French menu with good choice, including vegetarian. Great portions. Mona was a great waitress and gave good recommendations.
The most magnificent view of the cliffs of Les Baux. We ate shells with sausage, raw shells and something similar to borillas, but differently named. Everything tasted great and we had a very pleasant experience.
