we stayed two years ago in the hotel and came back to dinner because we liked the real hospitality and authentic family-run hotel experience. the people who run it are beautiful, serving competent without fuss and great efficiency. eating was delicious...to die with generous portions and kartoffel dauphinois. it is a savoiyard style menu so a bit limited in the choice, but if that's what they are after they can't do better. I had the Beaufort tea that was creamy and full of the delicious local cheese, and the pan-fried trout with a fertilizer for dessert. they were also very patient about my terrible French.
