We arrived at Gattieres on a Sunday evening, hungry and in need of rest and refreshment. Finding Le Manon, at around 8.30 fairly full but with several empty tables, we asked for a table and were advised that as we had not booked, would we mind coming back in an hour's time. Wearily, we traipsed around the village, finding everything closed, and returned, expectantly at 9.30. We found that there were still empty tables, but the waitress told us that the restaurant was full. She asked us to wait, while she crossed the road to a sister take-away pizza restaurant, which had several empty tables, to ask the manager if we could sit there, however a man approached us ?the manager) and brusquely ask...
Unpretentious little restaurant in the hillside village of Gattières with really great pizzas served in a pleasant outdoor garden. Pizzas are huge but with a very fine thin crust so not overwhelming and delicious toppings. Locally grown strawberries make a lovely dessert when available. No views but friendly service.
First visit, and certainly not the last. standard house, very good dish of the day at 13€50, served on the pleasant terrace, otherwise slate of the day with moderate prices. service pretty fast, free parking nearby, brief a very good time, many regulars as customers. a name changed, the sian da who now.
Well there are very few restaurants on the Riviera where you feel welcomed, including during the summer season. In Le Manon, during the Opera ferstyival of Gattieres, warm welcome in the name of the game as well as a simple cuisine focused on salads and pizzas. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
Stayed in village 3 nights and went every night for a drink and once for meal. Not a tourist venue so ideal. Food pretty good but we should have had pizza which looked great for €10. Nice atmosphere and very friendly staff
New restaurant offering excellent provencal dishes. It was reviewed by Winner three years ago with glowing reports. There is a lovely private garden to sit and enjoy your food or drinks during the spring and summer months.
A great restaurant with the best Pizzas we ever ate. The menu seems limited but all the choices we made were really good. Very nice atmosphere except for the midgies but that's nature's fault).
