Traveled 30 minutes to try Hot Dog Allie’s for the first time. The employee’s were very friendly and quick to take my order. I was under the impression they would offer some sort of combo meal, but it appears everything needs to be ordered separately which clearly adds up! The loaded waffle fries only comes in a shareable size and approx. $8 by itself. I wish they offered a regular size to pair with a hot dog. The loaded waffle fries were great, crispy. I don’t think I’ll return until revisions are made on the menu to be more budget friendly or at least offer a combo meal so you aren’t spending $18 for lunch. :
This is a real restaurant. The food was out of this world great. The chili sauce is better than the original Jibjab sauce. Everything was hot and freshly made. The potato puffs are addictive. The pulled pork sandwich was one of the best that I have ever tasted. Forget all these corporate chain fake hotdog shops popping up everywhere. Go here once, and you will be a customer for life.Parking: Nice big paved parking lot. Plenty of room.
The hot dogs, chili sauce, tater tots, and waffle fries were all excellent! Everything was fresh and served hot. The standout of our meal was definitely the cheese sauce—it was truly incredible and hands down the best I’ve ever tasted. You can tell it’s homemade and not from a can! I’m already looking forward to my next visit!
Went to order at the window and wasn't even acknowledged by an employee who was eating in front of the service window. After taping on the glass to catch the employee attention she became upset since she was on break. A car pulled up to the drive thru and got served from another employee that came out of nowhere. I will never return! My chicken sandwich was awful. I requested pickles and mayonnaise, but there was no mayonnaise, and it tasted terrible. I also ordered loaded waffle fries, but they were way too salty to eat. I would rate this experience a 0 out of 10. The parking situation was also lacking.
The chicken sandwich was just ok. The breading was falling off. The waffle fries were covered in the cheese sauce, but only the top and it became soggy and the rest without anything. Little pricey for what it was.
I always enjoy visiting this restaurant for a meal! The food is consistently hot, fresh, and delicious. The service is quick and friendly, making for a great experience.
