0 STERNE Gestern. Ich war mit meiner Familie zum Abendessen zum Geburtstag meiner Großmutter dort. Ich bin selbst seit 10 Jahren Köchin. Als ich hörte, dass das Bad Horn mit einem Michelin-Stern ausgezeichnet wurde, war ich gespannt darauf, etwas Gutes zu essen und den netten Service zu genießen. Als ich die Speisekarte sah, war ich schockiert. Da es sehr langweilig und überhaupt nicht sehr aufregend war. 3 von uns fragen nach einem anderen Menü. Also wurde uns das traditionelle Schitzel panierte Kalbssteak mit Pommes angeboten. Ein sehr einfaches Gericht, das man zubereiten kann. Für 40 CHF !!!!! Das gleiche Gericht gibt es nebenan für 18 CHF. Die Pommes waren aus dem Gefrierschrank trocken...
0 STAR Yesterday . I was there with my family for dinner for my grnadmother birthday . I am a Cook my self for the last 10 years. When I heard the Bad Horn had a 1 Michellin Star i was exited to eat some good stuff and enjoy a nice service. When I saw the Menu I was shocked . As it was very boring and not very exited at all . 3 of us ask for a different menu . So we were offered the traditianl Schitzel ( Breaded Veal steak ) with Fries . A Veeery simple dish to make . For 40 CHF !!!!! The same dish you can get next door for 18 chf . The Fries were from The freezer dry and over fried and the Schnitzel was wet and oilly . Like it was fried and then put in the steam oven ..not crispy at all ! F...
I read some of the reviews which said there was a lack of 'ambiance' but having experienced the outdoor restaurant I disagree. The scenery was beautiful, the food very good and the service excellent. My questions were answered, my server had a fantastic attitude and everyone was very pleasant. The pianist helped the atmosphere with effortless melody. A wonderful experience, thank you!
The food was good, but, served without Heart and Soul; considering that everything that could possibly improve the ambience is already there, the Service was to say the least, a little wooden. I know they can do better, and they can do better, but, the Maitre`D is just a little too grey and hates smiling.
Dieses Restaurant ist sehr anspruchsvoll, das Essen ist eine Kunst und köstlich. Das Personal ist freundlich und sehr professionell. Einer der besten Orte, die ich im Raum Steinach entdecken durfte. Sehr empfehlenswert.
Everything was very good and given the prices you could be forgiven for expecting at bit more ambiance. The main course of pike was terrific and the cheese selection to conclude the meal was excellent.
The view of Lake Konstanz is wonderful and we had a very good lunch and lots of laughter and again, delicious local wine. The hotel here looks very nice and maybe a great place to stay the next time!
The restaurant is well situated on the Konstanz lake. Fabulous meal with great servers available and listening. It was a really nice experience for me and my friend during my trip in Switzerland.
Were at the first floor panoramic bar and asked for the desert menue. The desert of the day was great and we had a nice break up in this place.
