Besuch: 22.08.19 20:30 Uhr Im Urlaub und zu Besuch bei meinem Mann, Sohn, unserem deutschen Freund. Wir gingen hinein, wurden 5 Minuten lang ignoriert und blieben draußen am Eingang auf der Terrasse stehen Kollege, um es uns auf dem Tisch zu zeigen. Der Tisch und dann wurden wir weitere 10 Minuten ignoriert. Eine Art der ältesten der beiden alleinstehenden Kellner, die wir sahen) warfen dann 4 Menüs auf den Tisch, ohne „Hallo“ oder „Guten Abend“ und hatten Angst. Wir kamen dann hoch und gingen. Die blonde Dame an der Rezeption fragte uns auf dem Weg nach draußen nie, ob wir es wären Okay und was das Problem war Absolute Schande Trotzdem sind wir neben ein Restaurant mit Mitarbeitern gegangen...
This restaurant has a superb situation in an impressive building beside the castle, overlooking the town. A taxi is recommended, as the climb from the lower Old Town is only partly reduced by a public lift! The restaurant was busy on a Friday evening and...we were glad we had booked ahead. Service was friendly and efficient and the trout and sauerbraten (pot roast beef) were beautifully cooked and presented. A sorbet, local cheese and a Meissen wine completed a most enjoyable meal.
I have to evaluate the 5/5 because the service was so good. The restaurant was full and we had no reservation, but they only opened a separate part for us. Local beer and wine on the menu and the food is good and...probably expensive. In combination with the spectacular view, this was exactly what we needed.
Hidden over this place after a cool afternoon in the cathedral and castle, and had a very nice late lunch. Charming little restaurant. We only had busts, but they were very good. Nice service, cheap. If you go on over the cathedral, it's a great place for a bite.
