Eine sehr gute Adresse. Herrliches Gebäude aus dem 15. Jahrhundert (ohne Aufzug, nicht für Behinderte geeignet). Schöne Zimmer, ausgezeichneter Service. Die Besitzer, einheimisches Paar, tun wirklich ihr Bestes, um Ihre Probleme zu lösen, auch wenn sie nicht mit dem Hotel verbunden sind. Gutes Frühstück und sehr schönes Abendessen im Restaurant (nur echte Mahlzeiten fehlen). Für Skifahrer nur 50 m von der Skibus-Haltestelle entfernt, der Sie in die wunderschönen Gebiete von Hinterstoder und Wuzerhalm bringt (getrennt, aber mit einer gemeinsamen Skikarte). Mit dem großartigen Naturpark Kalkalpenwald in der Nähe sollte der Ort im Sommer sehr schön und voller Möglichkeiten sein.
This place went through highs and lows. With the recent owners and excellent cook it is highly recommended. Very friendly and attentive service, prices are moderate. The quality of the food is a reason to come again and again. Mainly traditional Austrian food, or localised specialties. There is also a small range of creative and very good vegetarian meals. I will definitely be back.
located in the center of windischgarsten, nice wirtshaus. backyard garden (used to be part of the barn for being seated outside in summer. friendly service. food really good! menu: a lot of meat of couse, but fish from close by as well. not too much choice for vegetarians. but: a lot of tasty food on your plate! enjoy it to the full :
We stayed the night at Das Rossl hotel and restaurant in Windischgarsten. We were lucky to go into the restaurant at the time we did as the kitchen closes at 8pm on a Sunday eve. Other nights it closes at 10pm. I think Wednesday is the rest day. The food was great- large plateful and very tasty. Would recommend.

What a beautiful place. So a pleasant staff, very relaxed atmosphere and beautiful breakfast. 18 minutes from the ski resort. We looked around like that. Pet friendly too. Thank you. We'll be back.
Sehr leckeres frisches und erstaunliches Essen. Wir haben hier viele köstliche Gerichte gegessen und es war immer absolut fantastisch und beeindruckend! Tolle Arbeit!
