You would not expect this quality of food looking at the town at first sight, but there is a reason 3 local people recommended to me when I was walking up and down the few streets and asking people where was a good place to have a great dinner. I had the filet of veal with morel mushrooms and a morel mushroom sauce! Really very good! I asked for vegetables and the chef had placed a big portion of wok cooked zucchinis, carrots, onions, snap peas, and a little side salad. Then I asked for the cheese plate and since one of the three cheeses they said was on the plate was camambert (and I am not keen on it) they changed it with a lovely conte and served it all with a little truffle oil and wonde...

Op lunchtijd op een maandagmiddag zit het ruime terras praktisch vol De formule van de dag is faux filer en een dessert voor 15,90 Een goed dessert , maar de faux filet leek nergens op. We bestellen al nooit entrecoge in Frankrijk omdat je dan gegarandeerd een half bord met vet heb, maar dit stukje vlees was aanmerkelijk beroerder. Het blijft zuchten en steunen om in Frankrijk een echt goed stukje rood vlees op je bord te krijgen voor een redelijke prijs.
We booked in the early evening for that night and were glad we did as it was extremely busy. My husband had steak and I had duck breast. Both were very large and cooked exactly as we had requested. The potatoes and vegetable accompaniments were very good too, We had a bottle of Gigondas at a reasonable price. The tables are quite close together and it is a very large garden terrace so probably not the ideal place if you are looking for a romantic meal 'a deux'.
