Gastronomic disaster... from 11:30 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. we tried to order a fondue. We were told unkindly that no food orders would be accepted before 12 p.m., only drinks. So we ordered something to drink and waited. At 11:50 the waitress insisted on collecting money. It was said again, eating only from 12 p.m. Ok... but even after 12 p.m. it wasn't possible to order because you were ignored. From then on, the unfriendly service was busy sending away guests who only wanted to order drinks. What a spectacle... a disgrace for the gastronomy... and for Gruyere.
We just had a drink break in this establishment, beautiful terrace, warm welcome, waitress a little exhausted and not patient, there were 11 of us and it's true that there is always someone who doesn't listen. But very nice location and great hot chocolate Establishment in the heart of the village which is absolutely a must-visit.
Right in the center of historical part of the town, this cute hotel has everything you need. Their restaurant is also one of the best.
Busy restaurant on the centre of the town square. Great sun. Service was very good with fondue and rosti recommended.
