Wir waren zu Beginn der Saison (Dezember 2011) hier, daher war es ziemlich leer, aber ich gehe davon aus, dass es in der Hochsaison schnell voll werden kann. Es wurde uns von Leuten in der örtlichen Sauna empfohlen und sie hatten Recht ... Ich hatte Mozzarella-Salat als Vorspeise, gefülltes Geflügel (oder so ähnlich) als Hauptgericht und eine erstaunliche Auswahl an Desserts. My husband and I have just come back from a 5 -day stay at the Gasthof- Grafenwirt including New-Years Eve. We had the best food experience in a long time. The standard was top notch every evening and the 8-course menu for New Year's Eve was the "pièce de résistance ". The staff always greeted you with a smile every day and got to know your likes/dislikes very quickly and were very accomodating. A very good selection of Austrian wines, which you won't find many places. A family atmosphere and the rooms were roomy and clean and the Hotel is centrally located in Wagrain.Will definitely be back and will certainly recommend the place to everyone.Vivan and Jan Nielsen
We dined here on our second night in Wagrain. Location was great because we were staying at the hotel right across the street.I had a delicious entree of salmon with spring rolls. My husband enjoyed his dinner too, but we cannot remember what he ordered! Not only is the menu nicely arranged, the quality of the food is excellent. The wine list - mostly Austrian products which I recommend - makes for a great evening as well. The service is friendly and professional. Take your time and do not expect to be in and out in a hurry if you go for dinner. For lunch the offerings include a 3 course menu. Pretty typical for this part of the world. Worth a try!
It is our second stay at this gasthoff and we for sure come back later. Very clean and nice rooms and the food is made by a fantastic chef. All taste delicious. Hans and Eveline are very friendly and you all most feel that you are in family with them.
Although we found the dining room a little austere and lacking atmosphere when we walked in, the quality and presentation of the food made up for this. Overall it was an excellent meal at a reasonable price
The food is delicious. We arrived after 1900 and only 30 min later got the starter. We were 6 person's and we were all very satisfied with food and the service. We can only recommend the restaurant. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
Local tasty gourmet food. The restaurant is often very occupied, also with locals. Almost everything we got during 5 days was good to excellent. Salad bar is also very good.
