Hotel Restaurant de la Jetee

First of all, the restaurant name is mispelled in Trip Advisor, and hopefully someone there will read this review and correct it. The word jeter in French is to throw something away, and this is definitely not what you would want to do with this...restaurant (correct name, Restaurant de la Jetée). We came across this restaurant during a drive from the east to the west coast of Corsica. It is not easy to get to, as Port de Centuri is on a peninsula in the north-west part of Corsica, and it somewhat isolated. However, when you do arrive the village is idyllic. We found the Jetée restaurant during an excursion to Cap Corse. Centuri is a nice village, and La Jetée is beautifully located offering views to the village, the sea and the marina. Staff was very friendly; our starters (beignets and a salad) were very good....Pizzas were just OK; my wife got a pizza without any sauce (just oil) which was therefore rather dry; my pizza was fine although not extraordinary. Therefore, just an “average” grade for this restaurant which could be much better with a bit more effort. It was still a very enjoyable time, though.

After a great scooter tour we decided to stop at Centuri, harbour of the langoust. We stopped at this hotel/restaurant with friendly waiters. The restaurant has a beautiful view on the idealistic port. However despite what the cart said at the entrance the run out...of langoust (at 1 PM). Very disappointing we felt misled. Their oisters were good, main course risotto with fruit de mer was not special. Prices were acceptable.

I really don't get this restaurant again. we waited for 3 hours for our lunch and we ended up with terrible food, especially child- simple cups with a piece of ham for 13 eur. we paid 106 eur for nothing. we don't even deny a dessert that was in the menu and the waitress was really rude and we called her 5 times and she didn't come. she came when we wanted to go without paying. terrible! We recently did a trip around Corsica and stopped here for a day at Centuri, known for its Lobster. After some advice from the friendly staff we settled on the 2 person platter pictured, 2 person is an understatement! The amount of seafood was staggering...but all tasted exquisite I've never had such huge portions of Lobster. We were very pleased and staff were very friendly.

beautiful and tasty menu and cheap price at 18:50, although the lasagne lacked a bit of punsch maybe a bit more garlic or mixed crimp? the service was good at the beginning, but a bit of a run off than they are on a bigger one. table of 10 concentrated.

Relatively good value but be aware lobster (the town's specialty) is VERY expensive in Corsica relative to North America! There are lots of other good affordable options however. Lovely terrace (chilly in May), nice service

The owner is a fisherman so you can trust the freshness of the seafood. The view over the little harbour is simply great. I recommend this place. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
