One of our favorite restaurants in the Southwest of France. Friendly service, extraordinary cuisine, lovely small selection of local wines. (We had a beautiful 2014 Pécharmant Bergerac Red). Food every course was a masterpiece. I had Baby Rack of lamb, cooked to perfection, My...wife enjoyed a Whole Dover Sole, probably caught the day before, brilliantly prepared, and our guest had Fresh Diver Scallops that were as sweet as i have ever tasted. These hosts know how to serve a perfect dinner. Not to be missed, even to make a trip way out of your way to enjoy a SPECIAL dinner!!!
We ate at the restaurant on Thursday night and enjoyed the experience so much that we returned on Friday too. The food is of excellent quality, beautifully presented and tastes wonderful. The outside terrace had a lovely ambience. Service was excellent The wine list was extensive and reasonably priced. If we return to Villefranche, we would certainly eat at La Bastide and would recommend it without any hesitation.
We ate outside lovely evening on the very well appointed terrace. The menu here is well thought out and presentation beautiful. All the food is prepared with care and was delicious. It was also great value given the quality. We have eaten in many...restaurants in this area and this is undoubtedly the best by some distance. We would recommend without hesitation.
The service was excellent ... staff was friendly and efficient. The food was tasty and made with beautiful fresh ingredients. Although we all had a delicious meal here it was expensive and just lacked that are but if wow. The children's menu is excellent!!!

excellent service amazing, modern eating! the hosts were so friendly and spoke very good English! the menu was great with some traditional dressed and modern dressed. we managed to book the last table, so I would say that booking is important!
Dutch couple cooking beautifully, sourcing their produce locally, excellent wine suggestions. Beef was beautifully cooked and very tender. Excellent family night out. Would thoroughly recommend it deserves its trip advisor position.
we had dinner here in august 2020, and eating and wein were very good and the host friendly and friendly. I would recommend the white chocolate and passion fruitchteis dessert, my partner had it and I was very jealous of his choice.
Have not been here since last year July. Fantastic, imaginative food. Excellent service. A must if you are in the region, or even worth the detour to dine with Karin at her lovely, delicious restaurant.
